Machinist | $20/hr

Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm

An established manufacturing company located in Dakota City, IA is hiring a skilled Machinist to join their team! The Industrial Machinist position will work 1st Shift, Monday-Friday and receive $20/hr! Those who have prior machining experience, especially working with mills and lathes, are encouraged to apply. Must demonstrate good teamwork, good attendance and possess blueprint reading abilities!

Responsibilities:

• Perform set up and operations of mills, manual and CNC driven lathes, drill press and tap operations
• Reading of blueprints and job orders
• Proficient use of all measuring devices; i.e. - tape measure, calipers, micrometer
• Complete job orders as specified
• Other duties as assigned 

Responsibilities:

• Prior machinist experienced required
• Ability to follow instruction, demonstrate good teamwork skills and attendance
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Knowledge of fractions and decimal conversions
• Knowledge of drilling and tapping parts
• Understanding of print tolerances
