Concrete Production Laborer | $18/hr
Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm, Overtime May be Available!
An established manufacturing company in Humboldt, IA is looking for hard working and dependable individuals to join their team! The Concrete Production Laborer position will work a Monday-Friday schedule from 7AM to 3:30PM, with some opportunity for overtime! Those with previous production experience and/or experience working with concrete are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the manufacturing of concrete products
- Operate forklift
- Must be able to follow all appropriate safety practices
- Operation of various hand tools
- Maintain equipment and perform daily inspections
- Set up and place steel forms
- Place steel reinforcing in forms in the manufacturing production process
- Place concrete into forms
- Tear down forms after the concrete is cured
- Clean and lubricate forms to be used in the manufacturing production process
- Place covers and positions steam lines for curing process (if applicable)
- Use various types of equipment to process product
- Cleaning of cement mixer
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs frequently; Push/pull cart with 80lbs of force; Demonstrate grip strength of at least 75lbs
- Ability to bend, stoop & climb throughout shift
- Must be able to stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Demonstrate positive attitude, strong work ethic, dedication, dependability and timeliness
- Log out/tag out certification required (will train to achieve certification)
- Ability to use hand tools
- Posses basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to work in a dusty environment
- Previous production experience is preferred
- Prior forklift experience is a plus!
