Night Shift Production Supervisor - $25+/hr. DOE

Sun-Thurs or Mon-Fri 6pm – 6am

Are you a driven leader with a passion in the Agricultural field? If so, this position is for you! A local feed manufacturing facility in the Sheldon, IA area is searching for an experienced and driven leader to join their team as a Night Shift Production Supervisor. The Production Supervisor is directly responsible for planning, organizing, motivating and directing all third shift production employees. The Production Supervisor is also responsible for the overall appearance and upkeep of the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Report any factors that may influence the quality and safety of finished feed and ingredients.
• Participate with the HACCP Feed and Food Safety Team
• Supervise and assist in training all production personnel.
• Coordinate planning production activities with the Production Superintendent.
• Assist the Plant Manager in all areas of plant operations as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or experience in feed manufacturing.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.
• Good supervisory, communication, and computer skills.
• Understanding of feed manufacturing and willingness to learn and grow.
• Knowledge of HACCP Feed and Food Safety Plan, and FSMA
• Ability to work in dusty environments, adverse weather conditions and temperatures.
