Equipment Support Tech - $52k-$63k DOE

One of our amazing Clients in Armstrong, IA is looking for an Equipment Support Tech to join their team, and continue the legacy. As an Equipment Support Tech you are responsible for providing technical support to customers, using knowledge of the company products and services as well as mechanical and equipment know-how. You will interact with customers on a daily basis to provide support, advice, hands on assistance and handle any and all concerns, questions and complaints that are received.

What you will be doing as an Equipment Support Tech:

• Partner with customers to effectively resolve issues through phone, email, chat, and in person.
• Travel to dealers and customers in the field who may need hands on repairs.
• Help customers navigate their equipment successfully.
• Answer customers' technical questions or about products, prices, availability, service, shipping, and invoicing.
• Work with all departments to expedite orders as needed to meet customer demand.
• Direct customers on how to use the online dealer system with patience and clear direction.
• Diagnose equipment issues and engage with Engineers to resolve issues and provide data.
• Complete the warranty process and registration with customers to quickly resolve orders.

What you will need to bring to the table to make an amazing Equipment Support Tech:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 2-year Ag Technology degree or equivalent (preferred)
• 2+ years of farm equipment operating, servicing, or equivalent and CRM, automated systems usage.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, reach, push, pull, crawl, kneel and climb.
• Up to 20% travel during certain times of the year. (required)
