Welder l $18-$24/hr. + DOE Up to $4,000 sign on bonus!

(1st shift) Mon-Thurs 6am-4:30pm, (2nd shift) Mon-Thurs 4:30pm-2:30am, some Fridays may be needed

A Sheldon Iowa area manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Welder to work in a team environment! This Welder will be joining metal parts together for a wide range of products, big and small. Work for an innovative company with a clear vision!

Welder Responsibilities:

• Able to set a welder according to job requirements
• Able to read weld symbols
• To follow safety procedures
• To keep an accurate count on product
• Able to read prints and weld according to print directions
• Able to weld in multiple positions
• Able to read and use measuring tools accurately
• Able to use a hoist or crane and know the correct procedures to operate it
• To complete jobs on a timely and consistent basis

To become a Welder, you’ll need:

• High school diploma/GED
• Hand welding experience 
• Must be safety minded
• Requires attention to detail and a high standard of quality
• Must comply to ISO 9000 required policies
• Must be a team player who can work effectively in a team environment
• Good interpersonal, verbal communication and active listening skills
• Able to lift 50 pounds occasionally and push/pull 100 pounds occasionally
