Bookkeeper
$20/hour or more, based on experience
Monday - Friday, 8:30/9am to 4/5pm

This opportunity to work for a family-owned waste removal company in Sioux City may be for you!  As a bookkeeper, you will be responsible for financial statements, recording a wide range of transactions, answering phones, taking job orders, and other administrative duties.  This job as a bookkeeper is a great opportunity for individuals who are proficient with QuickBooks, take direction well, and enjoy detailed work.  If you would describe yourself as someone who has similar working experience; dependable and disciplined, then we would love you to consider this position!

 Responsibilities:

• Financial Statements
• Processing and posting payments
• Invoicing
• Taking job orders
• Data entry
• Phone and email communication

 Requirements:

• AA/BA in Accounting or related field and/or at least 3 years of working experience in a similar position
• Proficient with QuickBooks
• Excellent computer skills
• The ability to solve problems
• The ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines

 Compensation and Benefits:

• Starting at $20/hour or more, based on experience
• Health and Dental (once hired onto the company – subject to company waiting period)
• LTD and STD (once hired onto the company – subject to company waiting period)
• Vacation, Sick Time and Paid Holidays (once hired onto the company – subject to company waiting period)
