Maintenance Mechanic | $20.00/ hr or more
Monday – Friday 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM
A leading rotational molder company in the Sheldon, Iowa area is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team! This position is an immediate hire and full-time. Experience is a plus! While working with the Maintenance team, you will perform maintenance, trouble shoot problems, perform preventive maintenance and repair electrical, mechanical and industrial equipment to ensure a safe and efficient workspace. If you like team work, challenges, like to work with your hands and don’t mind the dirty work, then this job is for you!
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and perform preventive maintenance or most electrical, mechanical and industrial equipment.
- Trouble shoot and analyze problems on equipment.
- Perform repairs on most electrical, mechanical and industrial equipment from pneumatic impact guns to programmable controllers and microprocessors.
- Be able to weld, cut and grind metal for mold and machine repairs.
- Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation for departments
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines
- There may be times when a temporary work assignment is required to meet the requirements of the department. Work assignments will be made at the discretion of Management.
Skills and Requirements
- 3-5 years industrial maintenance preferred (will allow schooling as experience)
- Associate Degree in Electrical Maintenance preferred
- Rotational Molding experience is a plus
- 3-5 Years Manufacturing experience
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Fork Lift/Scissor lift driving will be required
