AP/AR Clerk
$20-24/hr DOE
Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Aventure Staffing is looking for an AP/AR Clerk to join our team in Sioux City, IA!

Responsibilities of the AP/AR Clerk:
- Accurately enter daily deposits into the system and the general ledger
- Monitor AR for accuracy and make adjustments as needed
- Perform collection calls as necessary
- Distribute AR reports and invoices
- Accurately enter weekly sheets into the general ledger system
- Prepare weekly financial data and distribute in a timely manner
- Perform bank reconciliations for payroll accounts
- Reconcile and pay weekly child support orders, garnishments, and levy payments
- Accurately code and enter AP invoices, process AP checks, and reconcile payment
- Distribute, receive approval, accurately code and enter credit card charges
- Correspond and respond to vendor inquiries and maintain vendor files
- Provide support for payroll processing

Requirements of the AP/AR Clerk:
- High School Diploma / GED Required
- Associate's Degree in an accounting related field or equivalent experience
- Proficient in basic computer skills including typing/data entry, MS Office, internet and email usage.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills that show professionalism and competence.
- Track record of being self-motivated in previous positions.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a driving record that is insurable by Aventure.
