Our Client, who is a Global Leader in their Industry, is looking for an Accounting Department Supervisor for its Siouxland facility.

In this Accounting Department Supervisor, you are responsible for:
- Financial Close Process including Product Costing
- Review, Analysis, & journal preparation for turnaround cost
- Entry & Reconciliation of production and transfer tons
- Distributions & assessment processing
- Processing of Product Costing
- Chemical Inventory
- Calculation and journal entry preparation for chemical inventory cost
- Cost analysis & reporting
- Local Key Performance Indicators
- Cost analysis & reporting
- Variance Analysis
- Monthly plan cost variance analysis
- Local Financial & Cost Reporting Enhancements
- Finished Goods Inventory Reconciliation
- Assist in reconciliation & tracking of finished goods shipments
- Asset Componentization & Closure
- Assist with the preparation & distribution of the AFE Status Report monthly
- Assist with the close of AFE's to fixed assets accurately & on time
- Internal Controls
- Establishes & implements processes & procedures to meet departmental internal controls requirements
- Ensures that established processes/procedures are followed as designed.
- Works with Internal Controls Department to identify deficiencies in existing processes/procedure, the need for new ones and the extent to which processes/procedures are being followed.

In Order to apply for this role, you must have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent
- Five to Seven (5-7) Years of Experience in accounting roles with increasing levels of responsibility
- One Year People Supervisory Experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong verbal & written communication & organizational skills.
- Working toward CPA certification
