Chief Financial Officer

The ideal candidate will provide strategic financial leadership, driving growth and profitability for a well-known brand. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to lead all aspects of the financial function and mentor a high-performing team.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to the leadership team.
  • Enhance financial reporting and operational efficiencies.
  • Audit, Accounting and Internal Controls. Play a key role in company’s use of a new ERP system, including helping define and deliver real-time KPIs that are critical to business operations and financial disclosure, ensuring compliance with best practices.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing finance team by providing direct mentorship, constructive feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Work closely with senior leadership and management to help develop and execute a strategic plan that includes both short-term and long-term growth goals.

 

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting or another applicable program is required. 
  • CPA or CMA, combined with an MBA or other advanced degree a plus.
  • Must have previous experience in a CFO role.  Minimum of 3 years as CFO.
  • 10+ years of leadership in broad-based finance/strategic business roles.
  • CPG experience required.
  • Experience with Business Central system required.
  • Proficiency in financial analytics and synthesizing results to identify trends, challenges and opportunities to make business decision.
  • Proven track record of running and enhancing financial operations
  • Exceptional ability to identify, recruit, motivate, coach, develop, and retain a strong team.
