Job Summary:

Monday - Friday 

This position entails supervising various financial functions, including but not limited to accounts payable and receivable, payroll management, financial reporting, inventory accounting, and tax preparation assistance.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
• Ensure precise recording and classification of financial transactions.
• Evaluate financial operations, identify areas for improvement, and offer guidance on optimizing efficiency.
• Collaborate on developing annual budgets, financial forecasts, and strategies to achieve long-term financial goals.
• Monitor accounts for accurate reporting and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Create budget projections, monitor performance, compare actual results to estimates, and report on any discrepancies.
• Prepare for and facilitate financial audits and tax procedures.
• Maintain adherence to accounting standards and regulations.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Demonstrated understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Strong grasp of applied mathematics.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective time management skills and a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Proficient in accounting software applications.

Education and Experience:

• Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Preferred: Minimum of three years of accounting experience.
• Experience with accounting software like QuickBooks, Sage, etc.
• Experience interacting with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

• Extended periods of standing may be required.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.
