Applicator
$23 to $30/hour DOE
Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM (hours will extend past 5pm during seasonal operations)
A local progressive Cooperative is hiring an applicator to join their team! This position works to support the agronomy applications of the facility and local customers. Responsibilities:
- Assist in all aspects of fertilizer, seed, and chemical operations
- Attention to detail is very important when applying those products to customer fields
- Work closely with the agronomy sales personnel and the location manager to ensure efficiency
- Be the first line of customer interactions
- Maintain and record equipment logs
- Assist in inventory management
- Handle corrosive, hazardous, and chemical products appropriately
- Ability to perform forklift functions
- Load/unload trucks arriving at and leaving the facility
- Ensure product is being handled carefully to avoid unnecessary damage or accidents
- Follow direction of use for each product used
Requirements:
- Valid class A CDL
- Hazmat certifications
- Custom applicators license for the state of Iowa
- Maintain a current DOT physical
- Maintain a clean driving record
- Proficient time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work independently
