Dayshift 6am – 2:30pm
$19-20/hr DOE
Are you mechanically inclined and enjoy hands-on work? A local manufacturing facility is seeking an Assembler for Grain Handling Equipment. This position involves assembling augers, conveyors, bucket elevators, and other components used in agricultural systems. If you're detail-oriented, reliable, and enjoy working with tools and equipment, this could be a great fit for you.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble grain handling equipment and components according to blueprints, work orders, and specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment to fit and secure parts
- Inspect finished assemblies for accuracy, quality, and durability
- Perform adjustments, alignments, and minor modifications as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and schedules
- Follow all safety protocols and report issues with tools, equipment, or processes
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous assembly or mechanical experience preferred (especially in manufacturing or agricultural equipment)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, or technical instructions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with hand/power tools
- Dependable with reliable attendance and strong attention to detail
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a physically demanding environment
- Welding or fabrication experience (preferred)
- Forklift or overhead crane operation (preferred)
- Knowledge of agricultural equipment or grain handling systems (preferred)
