Auto Body Technician – Heavy-Duty Trucks & Equipment

Location: Lake Crystal, MN
Pay: $20+/hr (based on experience and certifications)
Job Type: Full-time | Day Shift | Overtime Available

We’re looking for an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team! You’ll be working primarily on heavy-duty trucks and commercial equipment, repairing, restoring, and refinishing damaged vehicles to top-quality standards.

What You’ll Do

• Assess damage, estimate repairs, and plan repair work.

• Remove and replace damaged panels, bumpers, and body parts.

• Perform frame straightening and structural repairs.

• Handle welding, metal fabrication, sanding, and surface prep.

• Paint and refinish vehicles, ensuring a seamless color match.

• Inspect completed repairs for quality and safety.

• Work with other technicians and service advisors to keep jobs moving efficiently.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe workspace.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Proven experience in auto body repair — heavy-duty truck experience preferred but not required.

• Skills: Strong welding, metalwork, and refinishing skills.

• Knowledge: Good understanding of vehicle systems and components.

• Detail-Oriented: High-quality workmanship and pride in your craft.

• Team Player: Reliable, hardworking, and communicates well.

• Physically Capable: Able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
