Autobody Repair Tech

$20-$35hr. Depending on Experience

Full-Time Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm, with OT opportunities.

Are you interested in working for an expert truck equipment and custom solutions company? 

As a Autobody Repair Tech you are responsible for  in the .  You will perform welding, body work/repair and panel replacements, prepping for paint, masking, sanding, patching, other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and follow all safety policies and procedures
• Work independently and as a team
• Work in paint department doing various repairs on heavy trucks
• Perform Welding duties
• Perform Body Work, Repair and Panel replacement
• Prepping for Paint, masking, sanding and patching
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including proper use of PPE

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to communicate orally and in writing with customers, and co-workers
• Reliable, hard worker, strong work ethic and KEEN eye for detail
• Must have welding experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills orally and in writing
• Small hand tools are required, a toolbox kit is available on a rent to own basis
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs. with assistance (2-man, forklift, overhead crane), ability to lift up to 50lbs, ability to stand for 8hrs at a time

Preferred Experience

• Required 2-year degree in autobody OR 2 years experience in a body shop

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: Starting at $20.00-$35.00/hour.  Compensation may vary based on experience, and qualifications.
