Automation Technician $ DOE- Depending on Experience

A well-established company in the Hawarden area is seeking an Automation Technician to join their team. Their duties are to design, build, trouble shoot and document control systems for automated machines.
Responsibilities:
• Modifying and repairing developmental electronic components and parts • Develop wiring diagrams, layout drawings and engineering specifications for equipment modifications
• Adjust, calibrate, align and modify circuitry and components • Follow written & verbal instructions, using test equipment, fabricating & documenting the processOversee the receiving of recyclable materials; including commingled household material, electronics and cardboard.
• Work effectively in a team environment, foster positive relationships across departments with internal/external customers • Will work closely with Engineers and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Associate’s degree in Electronics • Attention to detail a must & strong work ethic • Ability to speak, read, write and understand basic English • Must be able to work independently, self-motivated and take initiative • Must be PC literate, Word, Excel, Auto Cad would be a plus • Must be able to interpret test data • Basic math skills and good communications skills
