A North Sioux City Area coffee shop is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Barista and Deli Cook to join their team! If you have a passion for coffee, customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for the community, this could be a opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages consistently and to the highest quality standards.
Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment.
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card transactions.
Educate customers on menu items, coffee bean varieties, and preparation methods.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, lobby, and restrooms.
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
Assist with stocking, inventory, and preparing food items (pastries, simple sandwiches, etc.) as needed.
Provide outstanding, friendly customer service
Requirements:
Previous experience as a barista or in a food service role is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate!
A positive, energetic attitude and excellent communication skills.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Punctuality and reliability are essential.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
