CAD Designer
Pay $20-$40/hour full-time based on experience
Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm
- Our client is seeking a detail-oriented CAD Designer to join their team and play a vital role in the precision design of aircraft instrument panels. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to work in the aerospace industry, transforming complex technical requirements into the high-performance interfaces used by pilots. Ideal for individuals with a strong interest in the aerospace industry or those looking to specialize their CAD expertise in a high-stakes, technical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Create 3D models and 2D technical drawings for aircraft components
- Collaborate with engineers and others on designing layouts, determine materials and tooling
- Ensure designs meet FAA or EASA safety standards
Qualifications:
- Experience with QCAD and Autodesk Fusion 360 is highly preferred; however, we are willing to provide comprehensive software training for candidates with the right foundational skills.
- Demonstrate a strong technical mindset with the ability to translate conceptual requirements into detailed, manufacturable designs.
- Prior experience in aviation or aerospace is a plus, though not a requirement for candidates who possess a quick learning curve and attention to detail.
- As this role supports the aviation industry, the successful candidate must pass a comprehensive FAA-mandated background check and pre-employment drug screening.
