CNC Machinist l $18/hr. + DOE

Day: M-TH 6:30a-4:30p

Night: M-TH 4:30p-2:30p

A local machinery company in Rock Valley, IA is looking for individuals to be a CNC machinist and join their growing team! This machinist will work mostly independently to produce quality parts in a safe and efficient manner. This local machinery company is dedicated in assisting customers with their machining requirements!

Responsibilities: 

• Operation of various CNC/Lathe machines.
• Performs all inspection and audits assigned
• Identifies and records any problems relating to the product process
• Perform all paperwork requirements of the job
• Responsible to keep work area clean
• Responsible for conforming to safety requirements

Requirements:

• HS diploma/GED or 1-3 months related experience and/or training
• Read and interpret documents
• Write routine reports and correspondence
• Basic math skills
• Ability to understand written and oral instruction in order to carry out job duties
• Stand for long periods of time
• Reach, stoop, kneel. crouch
• Occasionally lift or move 80lbs
