Monday – Thursday, 7:00a-5:00p. Friday 7:00a-4:30p
Monday – Thursday, 4:50p-2:50a

Are you an experienced CNC Machinist looking for a long-term opportunity with a company that values quality, teamwork, and precision? Aventure Staffing is currently seeking a CNC Machinist III for a growing manufacturing company around the Cherokee, IA area. Key Responsibilities:

• Verify cycle times on all jobs and report discrepancies to the Crew Chief while documenting changes on travelers.
• Verify and set gauges using known standards and ensure gauges meet inspection sheet requirements.
• Ensure all machine safety devices are in place and functioning properly.
• Inspect machines and work areas to maintain safe and efficient operation.
• Operate CNC machinery following established safety and quality standards.
• Make routine machine offsets and determine when insert changes are needed.
• Change inserts, tooling, and work-holding fixtures as directed.
• Assist with machine setups under the direction of the Machinist or Crew Chief.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or apprenticeship preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of CNC machining experience or an equivalent combination of education and training.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, materials, and tools.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges).

 Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Standing for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
