CNC Machinist
$19.00 – $26.00/hr DOE + $3.00/hr Night Shift Differential. Plus, a weekly attendance bonus!!
Day Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Night Shift: Monday – Thursday, 4:50 PM – 3:50 AM
Are you an experienced CNC Machinist looking for an organization and career that will match your strong work ethic and passion for success? If so, this position is for you!! An expanding Machine and Tool Company is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join their team. The CNC Machinist is responsible for quality parts produced on our Doosan, Takamaz, and Mazak lathes.
Responsibilities:
- Verify cycle times on all jobs and report discrepancies.
- Verify/set gauging against known standards and ensure gauging is correct.
- Inspect machines and work area for proper order and operation, operate machines safely.
- Make routine offsets and ascertain the need for changing inserts and capable of doing so as needed.
- Change work holding fixtures and tooling as instructed, assist in preparation and execution of set ups as directed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1-year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic math.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to produce precision work.
