Robotics & CNC Technician / Automation Technician

Location: Armstrong, IA
Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM
Pay: $25/hr + shift differential | Overtime available | Full benefits

About the Role

Join a well-established manufacturing company as a Robotics & CNC Technician! We’re looking for a motivated, responsible, and safety-conscious individual to help keep our automated equipment running smoothly. This is a hands-on role where you’ll program, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain robotic and CNC machinery to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety.

No prior robotics experience? If you have mechanical aptitude and are willing to learn, we will provide training!

Key Responsibilities

• Program and operate robotic and CNC equipment

• Build, assemble, and modify robotic systems

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime

• Read blueprints and follow written instructions to ensure accurate assembly

• Use precision measurement tools to verify dimensions and quality

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S)

• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required

• Robotics or CNC experience preferred but not required — training available

• Ability to read blueprints and work with precision measurement tools

• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand/power tools

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Self-motivated, responsible, and safety-minded
