Car Wash Manager | $50,000/yrly salary

Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5pm.  On-call nights and weekends as needed.

We are hiring a Car Wash Manager for a well known car wash in Spencer and Milford, IA. This is a direct hire opportunity. Manager would provide quality customer service, ensure equipment is maintained in optimal working condition, maintain safe working conditions, and manage car wash attendants. Applicants must have mechanical and electrical experience. 

Responsibilities:

• Supervise/perform preventative maintenance on car wash equipment and facility
• Repair car wash equipment as needed 
• Ensure car wash chemicals are being applied at the correct ratio
• Assist in management of car wash chemical and spare parts inventories
• Supervise, schedule, and communicate with car wash attendants
• Participate in car was attendant hiring process
• Train car wash attendance and participate in annual performance reviews
• Grounds and building maintenance - mow grass, maintain landscaping and scoop snow
• Ensure there is adequate cash on hand for car wash attendants
• Fill in for car wash attendants as needed
• Communicate with customers, resolve car wash performance issues
• Assists with manufacturing and lake services as time permits

Requirements:

• Mechanical skills required
• Electrical skills required
• Plumbing experience preferred
• Supervisory skills
• Scheduling and organizations skills
• Basic PC skills including MS Excel required
• High School Diploma required
• 2 year college degree/vocational technical training in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing preferred
• Ability to work 40 plus hours a week
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to climb up and down ladders
• Ability to reach above head for extended periods of time

Benefits & Pay: 

• $5000.00/yrly Salary, OT available
