Catering Assistant/Front of House Team Member l $15/hr. + DOE

Catering Assistant – Hours will be vary based on catering schedule, weekends required when scheduled.

A local catering company in the Orange City, IA area is looking to hire a catering assistant/Front of House Team Member that serves as a partner with the catering manager. If you are a happy, positive, and dedicated person then this is the job for you. 

Responsibilities:

• Sets up, serves, and cleans up at banquets, luncheons, coffees, etc.
• Interacts with guests at events with professionalism, service, and grace, upholding the customer service expectations.
• Ensures all catering dishes, utensils, and other equipment from the catering storeroom are clean and properly returned to their correct place after each event. 
• Greet customers at restaurant, provide excellent customer service, complete customer transactions.
• Reports to the catering manager customer feedback and any needed maintenance or catering supplies as needed. 

Requirements: 

• Be able to lift 25 lbs.
• Be able to transport food, beverage and serving related items to serving tables or guest tables. 
• Be able to stand on one's feet for long periods of time, bending, stooping, and twisting. 
• Have 1 year minimum experience with food service and catering preferred.
• Possess a positive, can-do attitude.
• Work well with others.
• Be willing to engage actively in the physical work of a high quality hospitality service operation.
