Construction Estimator - $21-$25+ Hourly DOE (On-Site)

A commercial and residential construction company with headquarters in Graettinger, Iowa, which is a leader in their industry is hiring a Construction Estimator to join their team.

You'll want to be part of this well established team that operates with high integrity!

Responsibilities:

• Correspond with District Sales Managers and Dealers
• Assist Dealers with take-offs and estimates
• Quote projects, including soliciting bids from Sub Contractors
• Develop pricing and scopes of work on commercial and public bid jobs
• Assist with organizing and creating Dealer information packets
• Coordination of agriculture building orders, delivery and general service
• Understand and observe all applicable corporate safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Knowledge of AutoCAD or related CAD drafting software is helpful, not required
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook & Power Point
• Knowledge of general construction practices/procedures and code requirements
• Ability to read construction drawings, specifications and special estimating as needed
• Knowledge of agricultural building estimates
