Conveyor Sales | Competitive Wages - Depending on Experience

Monday - Friday, Day Shift

An established manufacturing company located in the Humboldt, IA area is hiring an experienced professional to join their Sales team! The Conveyor Sales position will be responsible for correctly quoting and selling the appropriate conveyor equipment for customer’s applications. This position will work closely with management, purchasing, costing, quality control, engineering, as well as production and shipping employees. This job as a Conveyor Sales professional is a great opportunity for individuals with prior conveyor knowledge and excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities:

• Keep a professional and positive attitude with both customers and fellow employees
• Achieve annual goals set by management
• Be at your desk to take sales calls
• Return quotes over the phone or via email in a timely manner of receiving inquiry
• Keep records of quotes and enter purchase orders within 24 hours of receiving an order
• Price and enter orders correctly
• Follow up on outstanding machine quotes on a monthly basis and update quote log
• Follow up on outstanding and overdue part & machine orders for customers
• Work with regional sales contact or distributor
• Be willing to travel occasionally (sales trips, trade shows) required

Requirements:

• High school diploma is required.
• Maintain a valid drivers license
• Conveyor and Packaging production and sales experience
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Proficient computer skills with fundamental knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Must dress professionally as appropriate when working with customers 
• Appropriate language and acting in a professional manner
