Credit Housing Counselor
$17/hour + based on experience
Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm

Responsibilities:

• Interviewing clients, gathering information, and evaluating data
• Counsel and provide educational materials regarding budgeting
• Assist clients with budgets and setting financial goals
• Providing detailed actions plans
• Conduct financial/housing education workshops and seminars
• Assisting in negotiating with creditors

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college/university in social work, business, finance, or related field; or two years of relevant experience
• Experience in one or more fields: non-profit, banking, social work, homeownership education, credit counseling
• Ability to analyze financial data and develop successful plans
• Detailed and ability to manage multiple projects
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
