Deli Salad Bar Prep Cook | $15/hr 

Monday - Thursday: 10:30AM -7:30PM 

Friday: 8AM-2PM

If you're reliable, friendly, and hard-working, this could be your next great opportunity. As a Prep Cook, you'll work to ensure that high-quality, properly seasoned, and nutritious food is prepared and served safely. You’ll be a valued team member, contributing to the overall success of the dining program and assisting in all areas of food service as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares food items according to established recipes and menus in a way that preserves freshness, quality, and visual appeal.
• Ensures all food is ready for use within the established time frame, supporting smooth meal service operations.
• Utilizes safe food handling techniques and maintains proper food storage, labeling, and dating standards.
• Maintains food at appropriate temperatures (below 40°F if cold, above 135°F if hot) and keeps accurate food safety logs.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including proper sanitization and the use of protective equipment.
• Communicates effectively with supervisors and team members regarding food production needs and kitchen operations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of food service or catering experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills
