Delivery and Install Tech

$18-$25/hr. + DOE

Are you an upbeat people person with a positive attitude? Do you wish you had a job where no two days are the same? If so, this job is for you! A local retail appliance company in the Sheldon, IA area is looking for an Installation Technician to join their team. As a Delivery and Install Tech, you will be responsible for ensuring the appliances are in good physical and working condition. You will also be the “final contact” with the customer. You may be the determining factor whether we have a lifelong customer or not.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare appliances for loading and unloading.
• Work in a team setting to deliver and install appliances.
• Interact and communicate with customers and team members.
• Accurately document all daily and weekly jobs.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and practices.
• Complete any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent level of education.
• Previous delivery and/or installation experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with staff and customers in any situation.
• Ability to multitask and have strong attention to detail when performing tasks.
• Ability to explain features of new appliances effectively and efficiently.
