Diesel Mechanic / Diesel Technician

Location: Mountain Lake, MN
Pay: Based on Experience
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic / Technician to join our growing team in Mountain Lake. If you’re a self-starter with strong diagnostic skills and a passion for keeping trucks and heavy equipment running safely, this is the role for you! You’ll work in a supportive, well-equipped shop with a team that values quality work and professional growth.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical issues on diesel engines

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on trucks and heavy equipment

• Repair or replace engines, transmissions, and other components

• Use modern diagnostic tools and equipment

• Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and parts used

• Provide excellent customer service and communication

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience repairing diesel engines, technical training, or as a service mechanic

• Strong written, verbal, and in-person communication skills

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in forms, reports, and orders

• Must have your own tools (tool allowance available for qualified candidates)

• Proven customer service skills and ability to work independently
