Dishwasher | $14/hr 

Monday - Thursday: 12PM -8PM 

Sunday: 11AM - 7:30PM

An established Caterer that oversees a College Cafeteria in the Orange City, IA area is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join their kitchen team. The Dishwasher is responsible for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized in accordance with health and safety standards. This position plays a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen, allowing the team to provide excellent service to our guests.

Responsibilities of the Dishwasher:

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and glassware by hand or using dishwashing equipment.
• Follow proper cleaning, sanitation, and food safety procedures, including regularly checking and maintaining water temperature in dishwashing machines.
• Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and free of clutter, including emptying trash and recycling bins.
• Maintain awareness of food safety standards and cleanliness in all aspects of the work environment.
• Assist with guiding other staff as needed.

Requirements of the Dishwasher:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 50 lbs).
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
