$16/hr. + $1.50 shift differential

2nd shift: Sun-Tues 7p-7a  AND every other Wednesday. 

A local drainage product manufacturing company in the Sheldon, IA area is looking for a Downstream Technician to join their team! The Downstream Tech is responsible for handling and coiling single wall pipe as it comes off the extruder line and for moving finished coils to an outside holding area. Those who have experience working in an industrial team setting with a great eye for details and the drive to produce quality product are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities:

• Preparing maxi spools with cores and strings
• Monitoring the maxi-coiling process to assure that finished coils are wrapped firmly, neatly, and consistently throughout the entire coil
• Installing appropriate covering on “socked” tile.
• Moving finished tile to outside holding area
• Prepare and complete applicable tracking records

Requirements:

• Conscientious attention to detail and quality
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors
• Ability to work full time schedule with overtime and/or shift swings as needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
