Job Description
Employee Relations Assistant $17.75/hr
Monday through Friday 7:00am-4:00pm No weekends!
- Assisting with the recruitment and hiring process, including posting job openings, participating at job fairs/hiring events, and conducting reference checks.
- Work with sensitive material and maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Create, edit, and post to social media accounts
- Collaborating on marketing ideas for radio, newspapers, and other media
- Create internal company communications, such as company newsletters, to keep employees informed and connected.
- Compose, create, edit and proofread correspondence and email.
- Data entry into company systems.
- Schedule meetings and trainings.
- Coordinate arrangements including catering for meetings, appointments, and travel.
Requirements:
- Must have experience working in an office position
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook – experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro, Power Point and Publisher a plus
- Must be detail oriented
- Proficient with multiple different social media platforms and management tools
- Good communication skills, telephone etiquette and customer service
- Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task in a busy environment
- Self-starter
- Passionate about making a difference in the workplace
- Eager to take on new challenges and opportunities for growth
Pay & Benefits:
- Starting Pay: $17.75/hr
- Paid Every Friday!
- Direct Deposit and/or Paycards Available
