Engine Rebuild Machinist

 Mon- Thurs 7am-6pm  Fri 7am-12pm NO WEEKENDS!

 A well established company with over 80 years of experience is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Engine Build Machinist with a strong mechanical aptitude to join their team. This company is the largest supplier of remanufactured engines and salvaged ATV/UTV parts in the industry; and they need a reliable and proactive machinist to ensure that their Engine Department runs efficiently.  The Engine Build Machinist is responsible for machining, modifying, and preparing engine components to meet exacting standards required for high-quality engine builds.  The ideal candidate will be able to work 45 hours a week with minimal absences.    

Responsibilities:

• Perform tasks including boring, honing, resurfacing, balancing, and inspecting engine parts for tolerances and defects
• Work closely with engine builders to ensure parts meet performance and reliability expectations
• Operate lathes, mills, grinders, and other machining equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment

Requirements:    

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of machine shop experience preferred
• Knowledge of engine mechanics and ability to identify engine components
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Experience in welding and fabrication
• Ability to accurately read measuring devices
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
