$26/hour + depending on experience

Drafter/Designer Responsibilities will include:
- Utilize and apply drafting standards and techniques to CAD system.
- Prepare complete sets of drawings which include technical layout, multiple view, detail & assembly drawings. Maintain proper documentation & database changes.
- Establish advance material requirements and BOM; load bills into product structure as required to meet schedules.
- Utilize mathematical formulas to compute weights, load capacities, dimensions, quantities of material, etc.
- Interface with internal staff, customers and vendors regarding technical issues pertaining to parts, design, usage, specs, etc.
- Provide guidance to drafters as needed.
- Check work for accuracy and compatibility with standards.
- Review production orders & correctly identify and order special parts required. Issue VIN.
- Design work generally limited to complex layout of product based on standards & established practices; assignments designed to develop increasing knowledge of product apps.
- Improve processes & conditions to create environment that is more productive including learning & applying advanced CAD capabilities.
Requirements of Drafter/Designer:
- Associate Degree in Drafting or Engineering is required.
- Design drafting certification preferred, but not required.
- Experience with CAD software, preferably Pro-E.
- Solid work ethic, good attendance and punctuality
- Ability to read and understand production and print orders.
- Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
