Extrusion Line Operator - $20.00/hr. DOE

1st shift: Sun-Tues 7a-7:30p AND every other Wednesday.

A local drainage product manufacturing company in the Sheldon, IA area is looking for a Extrusion Line Operator to join their team! The Extrusion Line Operator is directly responsible for the safe and efficient operation of vacuum corrugation extrusion lines and auxiliary equipment so as to maximize the output of salable high density polyethylene corrugated pipe.

Responsibilities:

• Safe, efficient operation of extrusion lines to produce high density polyethylene single wall and dual wall pipe.
• Monitor and make corrections for variances in production processes.
• Timely and effective communication to Operator and Supervisor regarding any problems with quality or efficiency.
• Assist with equipment set up, maintenance, and scheduled job changes.
• Oversee “downstream” activities to include perforating, coiling/packaging, and grinding.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Technical degree in manufacturing or mechanical-related field preferred.
• Successful work experience in closely related manufacturing process.
• Ability to safely operate fork truck.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. throughout work shift.
