Feed Mill Operator    $17-$18/hr.

A local agronomy business in the Sioux Center, IA area is searching for ambitious, punctual, and work-hardened individuals to join their team as a Feed Mill Operator. The Feed Mill Operator assists in the management of the mill and process of storing and mixing of quality feed for livestock.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and verify quality of ingredients, weigh out drugs and by-hand additions.
• Batch feed in feed mill manager.
• Help load complete feed on truck.
• Operate pellet and roller mills where applicable and necessary.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent. 
• Prefer previous manufacturing or mixing experience.
• Ability to bend, twist, crawl, crouch, stoop or kneel.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs. frequently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
