Feed Truck Driver

Day shift - Pay DOE

A local feed company in the Sheldon, IA area is searching for a hard-working, detail-oriented, and professional driver to join their team. As a Feed Truck Driver, you will be vital in the execution of daily operations of the Feed department.

Responsibilities:

• Attend all scheduled safety meetings, follow all safety and standard operating procedures.
• Weigh each order or load as applicable, check production variances.
• Complete and turn in truck delivery record daily.
• Sample every load of feed, write work order and date on each sample bag.
• Clean truck interior and exterior as needed and when time permits.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent. 
• Class A CDL required; Understand DOT placarding and DOT hazardous rules.
• Ability to operate and understand mobile equipment.
• Possess mechanical skills to perform minor maintenance tasks on equipment and property.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs. and stand, sit, crawl, climb, and reach difficult areas.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
