Are you a mechanically inclined, detail-oriented mechanic looking for a position with amazing benefits and a great work atmosphere? If so, this job is for you! A family-owned Industrial Manufacturing Company is looking for a Mechanic to join their team. As a mechanic, you will be responsible for using technical skills to inspect, maintain, and repair delivery and unloading equipment to ensure safety and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Examine vehicles to determine damages or malfunctions, service vehicles as needed.
• Follow checklist to diagnose, repair, and adjust parts as needed for trucks and trailers.
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, etc. to ensure they are in proper operating condition.
• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services to include oil changes, battery tests, lubrications, per established maintenance schedules.
• Assist with purchasing and maintaining parts inventory of all power equipment and shop supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Associate degree in related field preferred, 1-3 years of automotive service experience required.
• CDL with air brakes a plus.
• Knowledge of brake and wiring systems, and tire management preferred.
• Knowledge of the use of hand, power, and precise measurement tools.
• Ability to professionally communicate with customers, employees, and management.
• Ability to provide own general automotive tools.
