Production Lead

$21.50/hr

Monday - Friday, 6am-2:30pm (Overtime and Weekends as Needed) 

Are you a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced production environment? Join our team in Britt, IA as a Production Lead, where you’ll help oversee daily operations, train new employees, and ensure production goals are met safely and efficiently. This role also requires responsibility on the computer, paperwork and communication with supervisors. If you’re dependable, safety-focused and ready to take on a leadership role in production, we want to hear from you! 

Responsibilities:

• Lead and train production employees on procedures, safety, sanitation, and job duties.
• Oversee daily production and cleaning activities to meet department priorities.
• Work closely with supervisors and management to communicate progress and address issues.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, GMP, and company policies.
• Detect and correct safety or quality issues and report concerns promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality and enforce company rules.
• May fill in for the Area Supervisor as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience in production preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to read and follow instructions, safety rules, and procedure manuals.
• Basic math and problem-solving abilities.
• Must maintain knowledge of a basic set of tools.

Pay & Benefits:

• Starting Pay: $21.50/hr
