Full-Time Lab Tech | $16-$18/hr (Based on Education)

Schedule TBD, 12:00pm-8:00/8:30pm

A Sioux City area company is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Full-Time Laboratory Technician to join their team. This entry-level position is vital for ensuring the safety, quality, and consistency of our food products. The ideal candidate has a strong foundational knowledge of scientific principles and a commitment to meticulous documentation and lab hygiene. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Homogenizes samples following standard protocols

  • Assists with cleaning laboratory carts, glassware, racks.

  • Maintains cleanliness of laboratory work surfaces.

  • Maintains records of all quality activities as required in Operating Procedures and Test Methods.

  • Performs applicable testing with proper proficiency training with supervision.

  • Maintains and verifies equipment.

Requirements:

  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Reliable and punctual
