Foster Care Specialist

$37,000 - $40,000 Annually DOE

Weekdays/Weekends possible

Do you have your Med-Aid, active license, and want to be apart of changing people's lives for the better? As a Foster Care Specialist, you will be actively working with people on their road to recovery. You will be documenting and assuring compliance of the house and program rules/procedures. Responsibilities: 

• Service Planning 
• Assist with the recruitment of foster parents.
• Make presentations to community groups for awareness of programs
• Serve as a child advocate
• Provide regular support and technical assistance to foster parents. 
• Develop and maintain a detailed record for each client 
• Timely completion of documents meet established rules with agency regulations
• Shares the responsibility of 24-hour, on-call coverage to teaching parents, children, and their families.

Requirements: 

• Must be 21 years of age
• Successful completion of background checks/references including a valid driver's license.
• Willing to obtain an annual flu shot
• Some evening and/or weekend hours
• Must have a Bachelor's degree.
