Full-time Scale Operator / Office Associate - $16-$17.50/hr. DOE

Mon-Fri  Part time hours: 11a-4p (or4:30p) / Full time hours: 8a-4p (or 5p)

Are you a people person? If so, a well-established, locally owned company is looking for you! They are in need of a Seasonal Full-time Scale Operator / Office Associate. The ideal candidate would have a basic understanding of office duties, good customer service and phone skills, and would be a reliable team member.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service, greet and acknowledge every guest.
• Operate and monitor truck scale, ensuring accurate weighing of incoming and outgoing materials.
• Assist truck drivers with the weighing process, providing clear instructions and exceptional customer service.
• Perform general office tasks including data entry, invoicing, filing, and handling correspondence.
• Handling customer phone calls and walk-in traffic in a busy environment.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Basic office skills required to include Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel as well as multi-line phone operations.
• Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude.
• Good communication skills, telephone etiquette and customer service
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a busy environment
