A well established manufacturing company in Armstrong, IA is hiring a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join their growing team. What you will do:
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide FP&A finance support to the accounting teams related to productivity, demand planning, reporting, and metrics in a timely manner.
- Identify and understand business challenges; propose and create solutions.
- Partner directly with the finance teams and leadership team to collaborate on metrics, goals, and business reviews and process improvement initiatives.
- Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made.
- Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
- Provide support to external and internal auditors, 3rd party entities and tax authorities as needed.
- Serve as a liaison for the parent organization leadership and finance teams, managing the earnings guidance, cash availability, modelling, including executive presentation preparation, Q&A support, and ad hoc analysis.
What you need to to get the job done:
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- BS. degree in Finance/Accounting and ten years of related experience with 4+ years in a managerial role in a manufacturing environment.
- General knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles.
- Experience developing financial reports and metrics involving product mix, standard costing, factory variances, commodity exposures, etc.
- Strong preference for business analytics skills including OneStream and Tableau
- Strong preference for experience with Asset-Based Lending arrangements and associated cashflow and availability modelling.
- Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture.
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects across an organization that spans internationally.
***Occasional international travel will be required.
