Title: Grain Scale Operator

Shift: M-F Day Shift (Flexible / Extended Harvest Hours)
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
Job Summary: Aventure Staffing is seeking a dependable Grain Scale Operator in Wisner, NE. In this role, you will manage truck traffic, weigh loads, grade grain quality, and provide outstanding customer service to our local farming community and haulers. Whether you are experienced in agricultural operations or possess strong data entry and customer service skills, we are looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to work in a fast-paced harvest environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct inbound and outbound semi-truck traffic across the grain scale house.
- Accurately weigh incoming and outgoing grain loads and generate scale tickets.
- Probe grain loads, test moisture levels, and sample for quality metrics
- Input ticket details, producer accounts, and weight metrics into the database with high accuracy.
- Maintain a professional, positive, and communicative relationship with local farmers, drivers, and team members.
- Adhere to all facility safety protocols and scale house operational standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Basic computer proficiency with fast and accurate data entry skills.
- Strong attention to detail when recording metrics, weight data, and ticket numbers.
- Professional, reliable, and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and overtime during peak harvest seasons.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
