Hatchery Worker | $14.50/hr Starting Pay

Multiple Shifts / Schedules Available

A local production company in the Algona, IA area is hiring reliable and self-motivated Hatchery Workers to join their team! There are multiple shifts and positions available, day and night, and all positions pay $14.50/hr starting pay! The ideal candidate possesses great communication skills and the ability to self-motivate. Individuals with prior production experience are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities:

• Transfer and process eggs from boxes onto trays
• Load trays onto carts
• Check eggs for imperfections
• Regular inspection of eggs/chicks while incubating
• Transfer baby chicks and prepare for shipment
• Regular sanitation
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 60lbs frequently
• Ability to lift approx. 13 to 30lbs over the shoulders/head repeatedly
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours a day
