Job Title: Heavy Equipment / Maintenance Technician
Location: Worthington, MN
Pay: Competitive, DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

About the Role:
Are you mechanically inclined and enjoy hands-on work with heavy equipment? Join a growing scrap facility in Worthington as a Maintenance Technician! In this role, you’ll repair and maintain processing equipment, conveyors, and heavy machinery like excavators and front-end loaders. This is a great opportunity to put your skills to work in a safe, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and service equipment to identify damages or malfunctions

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks according to schedule

• Maintain equipment including brakes, steering systems, wheel bearings, and hydraulics

• Ensure all equipment and facilities comply with safety standards

• Operate hand and power tools and forklifts as needed

• Assist with other maintenance duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred

• Previous mechanical or heavy equipment maintenance experience preferred

• Ability to operate hand and power tools, forklifts, and assemble heavy mechanisms

• Physically able to stand, sit, lift, bend, and climb throughout the shift

• Valid driver’s license preferred

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
