IT Director

Need visionary, strategic IT Director for progressive, diversified company on the grow.  

IT Director will provide vision and strategic leadership, along with management of network operations and IT team. 

Responsibilities of IT Director include:

  • Manage deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems including servers, PCs, operating systems, phones, software applications and peripherals.
  • Provide expertise and support during system upgrades, installations, conversions and file maintenance.
  • Oversee system development and enhancement and integration of new systems with existing systems.
  • Analyze business requirements of all divisions to determine technology needs
  • Develop strategies and plans to enhance client services, improve user effectiveness and foster innovation.
  • Develop standard operating procedures and best practices and provide written protocols and guidance to end-users.
  • Ensure creation and maintenance of all written documentation including system and user manuals, license agreements and documentation of modifications and upgrades.
  • Oversee provision of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services.
  • Manage financial aspects of the IT department, including purchasing, budgeting and budget review for maximum efficiency and cost containment.
  • Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision.
  • Manage servers, security solutions, network hardware and equipment, along with telecommunications infrastructure and development plans, projects, policies and procedures.
  • Negotiate and administer vendor, outsourcing, and consultant contracts and service agreements, monitors cost effectiveness and performance of vendors against negotiated service level agreements
  • Manage and oversee all stages of the development life cycle for new projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, business administration or relevant field; Master’s degree is a plus
  • Minimum of 10 year of related experience including at least 5 years of senior management experience
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution and financial aspects of IT department
  • Experience as a senior leader in managing and implementing successful, comprehensive programs to achieve goals
  • Experience in information systems development and implementation
  • Experience in employee training and development
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, along with multitasking
