Industrial Engineer

Responsibilities will include:
- Monitor operations with an eye toward improving productivity and efficiency.
- Study each critical process within the operation, developing countermeasures and opportunities.
- Ensure processes are designed to meet quality standards on products.
- Help develop SOPs or instruction manuals for production personnel.
- Address safety issues or concerns and ensure work processes are safe.
- Lend support and assist the Industrial Engineer with projects.
- Generate process documentation and reports.
- Help organize workspaces for optimum productivity within the boundaries of the facility.
- Problem solving; process mapping, gap analysis and developing process metrics.
Requirements:
- BS in industrial engineering or related field such as manufacturing or mechanical engineering required.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience working with Google Suite is a plus.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Organizational, planning, and documentation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to bring values and a sense of ownership to the position.
- Fluent in process mapping and time study applications.
- Able to work overtime as needed and help out where needed
