What will You Do?
The Internal Auditor will be responsible for partnering with the Director in providing internal audit coverage to all operating units. You will serve as the direct point of contact with the operating units on their assigned audits.
- Review of compliance with financial policies
- Review and testing of transaction processing
- Assessment of revenue recognition practices including project budget adjustments over under billed status cost of completion percentage to ensure accuracy of earned revenue and profit as reported.
- Interact with operating units, regional accounting, and corporate accounting.

What do You need to Bring to the Table?
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years’ of progressive construction industry related experience in accounting or auditing Project accounting experience is ideal
- Applied working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), accounting procedures, and auditing standards
- Solid communication and skills to adapt and effectively work with varying styles across multiple operating units to successfully complete the audit requirements.
- Ability to understand and follow standard operating policies and procedures
